Welcome to the 2024 Global Road Safety Leadership Course developed by the Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit (JH-IIRU) and Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies. This course is specifically designed for road safety leaders from the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS) priority countries, with a key focus on enabling strategic decision-making that will provide a framework for evidence-based road safety interventions. It introduces key road safety topics and issues, but also gives a significant focus to leadership principles and road safety management. There is also a strong focus on the utilization of data to inform best-practice approaches.
Delivery of the course involves two phases through a combination of a comprehensive web learning platform and an in-person one-week engagement:
Phase 1: Monday, 23th September to Monday, 21nd October, 2024 - online
Phase 2: Sunday, 10th November to Friday, 15th November, 2024 in Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia
